Maxine Greene Institute at The Met
Community of Learners Series
July 12, 2019 5:00-7:00 pm
Please join us for an engaging evening of conversation around art works at the Metropolitan Museum of Art with facilitators John Toth & Holly Fairbank, as we explore the idea of how art from many different cultures can open us to new possibilities and maybe even change our lives!
Our theme this time is QUESTIONING around works of art. What questions help viewers look more deeply, make more meanings, ask more questions about an art piece?
We encourage educators of all kinds and experiences to attend!
The workshop/discussion will take place in various galleries in the museum.
Where: Metropolitan Museum of Art
- 5th Ave at 81st St
- We will meet inside the main entrance by the octagonal Information Booth.
